Perennia Fiduciary

A fiduciary house for Asia's families. We establish, administer and govern the structures that hold what a family has built — and we expect to be doing it for the generation that inherits them.

Bound volumes on shelves.

I

Vision

A fiduciary house that works in Asia's time zone and holds structures meant to outlive the people who set them up. This work is measured in generations, not mandates.

II

What we intend to be

To be the trustee a family can keep for three generations.

To keep a record complete enough to be checked at any time.

To stay small enough that the person who answers knows the file.

III

What we bring

Independence

We are not owned by a bank or by a product provider, and we do not sell products. We work for the family that appoints us.

We work Asian hours

A reply within one business day, in your time zone — not the next morning in the Channel Islands. The person who answers is the person who knows the file.

Bilingual by default

Quarterly reports in Chinese as well as English: the same numbers, in both.

The record

The oldest duty of a trustee is to keep the record: deeds, minutes, accounts, filings and distributions, kept current and complete.

IV

Where we establish

Where we establish

Guernsey, where we are licensed and where most structures are established. Elsewhere, we work with counsel and licensed administrators we have chosen and continue to use.

Where our clients live

Across Asia. Their children, their businesses and their assets are not: school in one country, a listing in another, a home in a third.

V

What we do not do

We do not provide legal or tax advice, and we do not manage money. We work alongside your own advisers.

VI

How to begin

A first conversation is usually short: what the family owns, where its members live, and what needs to hold for the next generation.

If it makes sense to continue, we set out the scope and the terms in writing before any work starts.
